Ms. Oforiwaa Pee Agyei-Boakye

Oforiwaa Pee Agyei-Boakye is a researcher and location strategist shaping location investment decisions by translating complex geospatial/location insights into strategies and policies that are profitable, resilient, and equitable. She develops decision intelligence frameworks that enable governments and global corporations to evaluate what works and steer multi-billion-dollar capital investments in urban mobility, corporate real estate, and global logistics. She is a Geography doctoral researcher at the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities, and holds a Masters in City Planning, with a focus on sustainable transportation and infrastructure planning, from the University of Pennsylvania. Her academic research integrates causal inference, geospatial analytics, and thematic analysis methods to evaluate the impacts of major transit investments in Africa. Her applied work extends to corporate location strategy, real estate, supply chain, workplace strategy, and urban mobility, where she leverages causal econometrics and geospatial intelligence methods to inform multi-billion-dollar location and investment decisions.

Oforiwaa Pee is also a Nike Location Intelligence Fellow and a Location Intelligence Consultant at Gonigs Inc., where she applies geospatial data and analysis to business strategy. Previously, she worked as a transportation planner and market researcher. She serves on a project panel for the National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine (NASEM)’s Transportation Research Board (TRB) and the curating panel for Transport Africa. She has coordinated the Appalachian Trail Conservancy (ATC) Equity mapping project and served as a member of the Appalachian Trail Conservancy (ATC) Next Generation Advisory Council and Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) National Environmental Justice Advisory Council (NEJAC) Climate Justice Work Group, and on the board of the Partnership for the National Trail Systems (PNTS).

She is a recipient of more than 100 awards, grants, and fellowships, including the Society of Women Geographers (SWG) Pruitt fellowship, American Association of University Women (AAUW) fellowship, Philanthropic Educational Organization (P.E.O.). International fellowship, Greenbiz Emerging Leader, American Public Transport Association (APTA), Women in Transport (WTS), American Planning Association (APA), International Facility Management Award (IFMA), and the Sharon Doherty Leadership awards.
