Mr. Jacob Windstein

I am a senior at Fayetteville State University, completing my undergraduate degree in Geospatial Sciences with a minor in Geospatial Intelligence (GEOINT). My academic interests are focused on remote sensing, environmental systems, spatial analysis, and the interconnectedness of natural and human landscapes. My studies and leadership experiences have deepened my understanding of how people interact with their environments and how those relationships can influence communities and ecosystems.
Outside the classroom, I am an active member of my local cycling club and a national veteran’s cycling club, Project Echelon. As the sitting President of my school’s Geospatial Science Student Association (GEOSA), I am focused on revitalizing student engagement, creating meaningful opportunities, and building partnerships between students, industry, and academia. I aim to use my education and leadership experiences to encourage others to explore their passions, serve their communities, and develop the confidence to lead.
