Dr. Niwaeli Kimambo
Dr. Kimambo is a land change scientist interested in rapid land use change. She has paid particular attention to rural East Africa’s tree crop boom of the past decade, spurred by involvement of absentee urban dwellers. She uses geospatial analysis and field-based inquiry to create insights relevant to African land use policy.
