Dr. Till Wagner is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Physics and Physical Oceanography at the University of North Carolina Wilmington. His research focuses on how ice in the polar regions grows, moves, and melts. He is also working to understand how changes in the polar regions are connected to the changing climate. To do this he uses a combination of mathematics, computer models, satellite observations, and measurements collected directly in the polar regions. Dr. Wagner completed his Ph.D. in applied mathematics at the University of Cambridge and spent his postdoc years at the Scripps Institution of Oceanography.
