Dr. Alex Vengerovsky

Alex Vengerovsky is the co-founder of Spatial Risk Systems (SRS), a data and analytics platform at the intersection of FinTech, Geospatial Intelligence, and Data Governance. His work focuses on integrating mobility, satellite, climate, and disaster datasets with comprehensive inventories of physical assets - manufacturing plants, warehouses, ports, energy facilities - to create decision-ready intelligence for investors, insurers, and policymakers.

Before founding SRS, Alex held senior roles in the financial services and technology sectors, where he led the development of investment analytics, credit analytics platforms, fixed-income data products. He built large-scale data infrastructures, integrated alternative datasets into investment workflows, and managed significant technology and information assets. These experiences provided both technical depth and an appreciation for the practical challenges of delivering reliable analytics to capital markets.

At SRS, Alex leads a multidisciplinary team applying GeoAI to monitor industrial construction, detect supply-chain disruptions, and map evolving customer–supplier networks across North America and globally. He is passionate about bridging advanced data science with practical financial applications, helping capital markets anticipate change in complex, interconnected systems.
