Ms. Britney Mabulekesi

I am a development economist with an interdisciplinary background spanning business management, applied development economics, innovation, and public policy. I hold a BCom in Business Management, a BCom (Hons.) and a Master’s in Applied Development Economics. My academic and professional interests lie at the intersection of economic development, innovation, entrepreneurship, competition, trade, and inequality, with a particular interest in how policy and institutions shape economic opportunities in developing economies , as well as how these can be effectively implemented to improve their development trajectories. As a young development economist, I am passionate about contributing to conversations on Africa’s future and exploring how the continent can leverage its diverse resources, capabilities, and geographic advantages to build economies that create meaningful opportunities for current and future generations.
