Mr. Michael Faust

Michael Faust is a social studies instructor at St. John Vianney High School in St. Louis, MO, just recently completing his fifth year teaching. He holds a BS in Middle/Secondary Education from Butler University, as well as an MA in Geography from Marshall University. Over his career, Michael has worked to incorporate GIS and geospatial technologies into his geography and history classes, providing authentic instruction to students that introduces them to the geospatial work being done in our communities, nation, and world. Michael also will begin serving as an instructional coach for fellow faculty members next school year, hoping to foster a strong community of educators grounded in collaboration and pedagogical development.
